Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all Nuri services, including but not limited to:

• Nuri for macOS (desktop application)
• Nuri for iOS (mobile application)
• Nuri web portal at nuri.dewitt.us
• Nuri API and integrations

2. Permitted Use

Nuri is designed for personal and professional productivity. You may use Nuri to:

• Manage tasks, schedules, and personal workflows
• Use AI-assisted chat for brainstorming, writing, and research
• Collaborate within your organization using Nuri’s features
• Integrate Nuri with authorized third-party services through provided integrations

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Nuri to engage in any of the following activities:

• Reverse engineering — Decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or otherwise attempting to extract the source code of Nuri or its components
• Unauthorized automated access — Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access Nuri without prior written permission from DeWitt Labs
• Circumventing security — Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with security features, rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms
• Harassment and abuse — Using Nuri to harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any individual or group
• Malicious content — Uploading, transmitting, or storing malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious code through Nuri
• Impersonation — Impersonating another person, entity, or Nuri system feature, or falsely claiming affiliation with any person or organization
• Illegal activities — Using Nuri to facilitate, promote, or engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Unauthorized data access — Attempting to access, view, modify, or exfiltrate data belonging to other users or to DeWitt Labs systems
• Reselling or redistribution — Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing Nuri or any portion of the service without prior written authorization
• Spam and deceptive content — Using Nuri to generate spam, phishing emails, scam messages, or any form of deceptive or misleading content
• Service interference — Intentionally interfering with or disrupting the operation of Nuri, its infrastructure, or other users’ experience, including denial of service attacks

4. AI Usage Guidelines

Nuri’s AI features are powerful tools that come with responsibilities. When using AI-powered features, you agree to the following:

• No harmful content generation — Do not use Nuri’s AI features to generate content that is harmful, illegal, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or designed to deceive others
• No prompt manipulation for malicious purposes — Do not attempt to extract system prompts, jailbreak the AI, or manipulate AI behavior to bypass safety measures or produce prohibited content
• Accurate representation — AI-generated output from Nuri should not be represented as human-generated professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). See our Disclaimer for more details.

5. Screen Capture

Nuri’s screen capture feature provides contextual awareness. When using this feature, you agree to:

• Only capture screens that you are authorized to view and share
• Not intentionally capture or transmit other people’s sensitive, private, or confidential information without their consent
• Comply with your organization’s policies regarding screen recording, data handling, and information security
• Be aware that screen capture processes on-device data through OCR, which may inadvertently capture visible sensitive information

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately at hello@dewitt.us. Include as much detail as possible, including screenshots, user identifiers, and a description of the violation. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

DeWitt Labs reserves the right to investigate and take action against any violations of this policy. Enforcement actions may include, at our sole discretion:

• Warning — A notification informing you of the violation and requesting corrective action
• Temporary suspension — Restricting access to some or all Nuri services for a defined period
• Account termination — Permanent removal of your access to Nuri services
• Law enforcement referral — Reporting violations to appropriate law enforcement authorities when we believe illegal activity has occurred

We may take any combination of these actions without prior notice when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the safety, security, or integrity of our services or users.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Nuri after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
