Community Guidelines
Last updated March 10, 2026
Signal//Next is a community exploring AI, data infrastructure, and next-generation operating models. If you use Nuri, you are part of this community. These guidelines apply across all DeWitt Labs community spaces including the Signal//Next newsletter, Nuri in-product interactions, and any associated forums, channels, or events.
High-Signal Contributions
We value substance over noise. The best contributions share concrete examples, frameworks, data, and resources that help others think or build more effectively.
- Share what you have learned from real experience, not just opinions
- Provide context and reasoning, not just conclusions
- Link to primary sources, papers, documentation, or tools when relevant
- Ask specific questions that invite thoughtful responses
- Summarize long content for the benefit of others when sharing links
Respectful Conduct
Engage with ideas, not individuals. Disagreement is welcome and productive when it focuses on substance.
- Critique arguments, not people
- Assume good intent unless clearly demonstrated otherwise
- No harassment, personal attacks, or intimidation of any kind
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or national origin
- No threats, doxxing, or encouraging harm against any person or group
No Spam or Solicitation
This community exists for learning and collaboration, not lead generation.
- No cold pitching products, services, or job opportunities
- No unsolicited direct messages for sales or promotion
- No mass promotion, affiliate links, or referral spam
- Sharing a tool or project you built is fine when it is genuinely relevant to the discussion and clearly disclosed as your own work
Accuracy & Integrity
Trust depends on honest communication.
- Clearly label opinions, speculation, and hypotheses as such
- Cite sources for factual claims, especially statistics and research findings
- Correct mistakes openly when you realize you were wrong
- Respect intellectual property — give credit, do not plagiarize
- Do not impersonate other individuals, companies, or organizations
Privacy & Confidentiality
Protect your own information and the information of others.
- Do not share another person's private information without their explicit consent
- Sanitize work examples by removing proprietary details, client names, and internal data before sharing
- Respect NDAs and confidentiality agreements — do not share information you are legally bound to protect
- See our Privacy FAQ for how Nuri handles your data
Prohibited Content
The following content is not permitted in any community space and will be removed immediately:
- Hate speech, slurs, or content that dehumanizes any group
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Graphic violence or content glorifying violence
- Instructions for illegal activities, fraud, or circumventing security controls
- Malware, phishing links, or other harmful technical content
- Content that exploits or endangers minors
AI-Generated Content
We are an AI-forward community. AI-generated content is welcome when it meets our quality standards:
- AI-assisted content should be edited, fact-checked, and contextualized by a human before sharing
- Clearly disclose when content is substantially AI-generated
- Do not use AI to mass-produce low-quality or repetitive content
- Automated bots or agents that post to community spaces require written approval from DeWitt Labs
Nuri-Specific Guidelines
Additional guidelines apply when using the Nuri product:
- Do not share screen captures, screenshots, or exports that contain other people's private information
- Do not use Nuri to generate harmful, deceptive, or misleading content
- Do not attempt to bypass Nuri's safety filters or content policies
- Report bugs, vulnerabilities, and unexpected behavior responsibly — contact hello@dewitt.us or use in-app reporting tools rather than exploiting or publicizing issues
Moderation & Enforcement
DeWitt Labs moderates community spaces to maintain quality and safety. Enforcement actions are proportional to the severity and frequency of violations:
- Content removal — Individual posts or comments that violate these guidelines may be edited or removed without notice
- Warning — A private notice explaining the violation and expected behavior going forward
- Temporary suspension — Repeated violations may result in a temporary suspension from community spaces
- Permanent ban — Severe violations (threats, hate speech, illegal content, doxxing) may result in immediate and permanent removal
All moderation decisions are made at the discretion of DeWitt Labs. We aim to be fair and transparent, but reserve the right to remove any content or participant that undermines the safety or quality of the community.
Reporting
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it through any of the following channels:
- Email hello@dewitt.us with a description and any relevant screenshots or links
- Use in-platform reporting tools where available
All reports are reviewed confidentially. We do not retaliate against good-faith reports.
Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines as the community evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the Signal//Next newsletter or in-product notifications. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
